Twitter Turns 7 Today: What Was Your First Tweet?

Twitter is septenary today — or at least, it’s been seven eld since founder Jack Dorsey sent the kickoff tweet. The seed with put together a blog post and video recording to look at how Twitter has evolved over the years. It certainly has come a long way since the days when it had no overt utility (for many at least), or was derided as a mere microblogging service where people berateed about their lunch. Over the years Twitter has become increasingly vital infrastructure for real-time, asynchronous communications. And of course, it still makes a pretty good place to talk about what you had for lunch.

But the anniversary has us thinking about first tweets. Especially now that Twitter has given us our story so we can actually find those early messages.
